The current company traces its roots back to the Victorian engineering expansion and in particular the Hambidge and Sullivan families who had business interests across the globe. The company is a private limited company with descendants of the Hambidge and Sullivan families holding a controlling interest in the company. Unlike expert companies that are listed on the stock exchange or financed by private equity, we place long term relationships above pursuit of profit and have clients that our experts have worked with for many years as well as newer clients.
Hanscomb’s global head office is located in the heart of legal London at 5 Chancery Lane with global hub offices located in New York, Johannesburg and Hong Kong. We currently have access to 3,300 offices around the world through our strategic office supply partner and can mobilise large teams to any country in the world upon short notice.
Each project or commission has a director responsible for its delivery liaising with the client to ensure that a high quality, cost effective service is delivered to the agreed timescales. Our typical director will have over 25 years’ experience in industry and be a trained and accredited expert witness. They are used to collaboratively working with the end client and their team.
Unlike most of our competitors in the construction and engineering expert sectors we work collaboratively with organisations to ensure that the client has access to the best expert, no matter whether they are a direct employee or sourced from our delivery partners, a quality service is provided and we do not push junior employees onto clients in pursuit of profit.
